Dr. Saliba Sarsar, JPI President address the Monmouth Center for World Religions and Ethical Thought on Jeruslem.
Dr. Saliba Sarsar, President & CEO of the Jerusalem Peace Institute (JPI, www.Jerusalem-pi.org) gave a PowerPoint presentation on JPI to members of the Monmouth Center for World Religions and Ethical Thought (MCWRET, https://interfaithmonmouthcenter.org) on Wednesday, April 6, 2022. He focused on Jerusalem as humanity’s gift and the need for creating an inclusive city that honors all its inhabitants and visitors. Given the city’s distinctive and unique status, he called on all to think and act creatively, responsibly, and sensitively about its future so that it can be a source of peace and harmony between peoples and religions. MCWRET’s main purpose is “to enhance the acceptance of religious and cultural diversity and the practice of understanding towards those different from ourselves.” Informed by the multiple expressions of the Golden Rule, its members seek common ground for interfaith dialogue and action.
